Paw Planet Academy was founded by me, Eti Bahar, a visual arts educator and educational illustrator with a lifelong connection to animals, nature, and children.

Paw Planet Academy grew from my own experiences of learning alongside children and animals where care, curiosity, and responsibility were not taught as concepts, but lived every day. I created this platform to offer children meaningful learning experiences that nurture empathy, environmental awareness, creativity, and respect for all living beings.

My educational approach is shaped by years of hands-on teaching, volunteering with TEGV (Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey) and WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature / Wereld Natuur Fonds), and by caring for animals through my cat-sitting journey across the Netherlands. These experiences brought real-life understanding of animal welfare, sustainability, and compassionate learning into my work.

Through Paw Planet Academy, I bring together creative, nature-based, and child-centered learning experiences that encourage observation, emotional connection, and responsible action. The cat characters featured in the academy are inspired by real animals I lived with and cared for, helping children connect with complex ideas in an accessible and meaningful way.

Paw Planet Academy is more than an educational platform. It is my commitment to supporting a kinder, more conscious future, and to collaborating with schools, NGOs, and educators who believe in learning through connection, creativity, and care.
